The main functions of the road traffic flow survey application system are as follows:
A. The road traffic flow survey system receives real-time data on the weight, number of axles, wheelbase, traffic volume, vehicle type, speed, etc. of passing vehicles, automatically compiles and analyzes the data, and provides monthly, quarterly, and annual traffic load flow reports.
B. Monitor vehicle load and vehicle information, identify overloaded vehicles in real time, and support automatic alarm and automatic event information warning functions.
C. Monitor traffic loads and find out the relationship between load changes and road condition changes, providing a basis for establishing traffic flow analysis models and performing maintenance work.
D. Based on real-time traffic data, management departments can be assisted in formulating more accurate maintenance plans. For example, for sections of roads that are often under heavy loads, inspection and maintenance efforts can be increased; while for sections with smaller loads, inspection frequency can be appropriately reduced, thereby improving the efficiency and pertinence of maintenance.
